Chief Minister Hemant Soren initiated the Durga Puja festivities with the inauguration of pandals at RR Sporting Club, Ratu Road, and Panch Mandir Durga Puja Committee, Harmu, Ranchi, on Friday. He offered prayers at the feet of Maa Durga, wishing for the well-being, prosperity, and happiness of all citizens of Jharkhand. Addressing media, Hemant Soren noted that the excitement for Durga Puja is high, as is the tradition. The devotees of Mata Rani are celebrating the holy festival of Dussehra with great enthusiasm, even amidst the rain. He extended his best wishes to the people of Jharkhand and the Durga Puja committee members for the Durga festival, desiring that Maa Durga’s grace be with them always and that Jharkhand continually progresses.
