Ranchi celebrates the 150th birth anniversary of the legendary ‘Dharti Aba’ Birsa Munda today, November 29th, with the inauguration of a dedicated museum and the launch of a new biography. The ‘Dharti Aba Museum’ and the book ‘Kranti Nayak Dharti Aba Birsa Munda’ will be unveiled at Arogya Bhavan in Bariatu. The event is set to be graced by Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram as the chief guest and Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth as a special guest. Presiding over the ceremony will be Ram Bahadur Rai, Chairman of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts and a Padma Bhushan awardee. This collaborative event is organized by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Ranchi, in association with Vikas Bharati, Bishunpur, and will include the presence of Vikas Bharati Secretary Ashok Bhagat.
