The Bhadininagar OP police station in Ramgarh is investigating the death of an unidentified woman whose body was found by the roadside near Chenagadda village on Saturday. Responding to calls from local residents, officers arrived at a scene adjacent to a fodder shop. Preliminary assessments indicate that the woman may have been subjected to violence. Security camera footage from the fodder shop is a key focus of the investigation, reportedly showing a struggle between the woman and a truck driver late on Friday. However, the crucial moments leading to her demise were not recorded. Police have obtained the truck’s number and are pursuing this lead vigorously. Efforts to identify the woman are ongoing, with her picture being circulated to aid in identification. The body has been sent to Sadar Hospital Ramgarh for an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death. The owner of the fodder shop mentioned that his workers discovered the body and that they furnished the truck’s registration details to the police, but they were unaware of the woman’s identity or background.
