Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid his respects to the late Shibu Soren by visiting his ancestral village and offering floral tributes. He characterized the death of ‘Dishom Guru’ Shibu Soren as an immense loss. Singh stated on social media that the tribal community had suffered a significant setback with the passing of Dishom Guru, following in the footsteps of Lord Birsa Munda. He recounted his personal interactions with Dishom Guru, appreciating his simplicity, approachability, and his perseverance. He also acknowledged that the people of Jharkhand have lost not only a popular leader but also a guardian. Singh met with Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his family to offer his condolences and wished them strength in this difficult time. Former Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey, MP Pappu Yadav, and former Rajya Sabha MP RK Anand also paid their respects to the departed leader and offered condolences to Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his family.
