In Gumla, Jharkhand, a man created a dramatic scene by climbing a mobile tower and threatening to jump in response to a family dispute. The individual, identified as Ritesh Kumar Singh, known locally as Babu, had a heated argument with his father and brother regarding property division. Before the tower climb, he reportedly assaulted his wife, Pratima Devi. The incident, which unfolded over several hours, prompted a significant police response. After prolonged negotiations, the man was persuaded to come down, but he sustained minor injuries. The event is now widely shared on social media. The situation echoed a similar incident in Ranchi in 2023, which involved a man climbing a high-tension electrical tower as a result of a domestic dispute.
