According to available information, the police team had arrested Surya Hansda from Deoghar on Sunday. Following his arrest, the police team went to the Lalmatia forest in Godda district to recover weapons based on his indications. During this operation, he tried to snatch a weapon from the police and escape. The police then opened fire, resulting in his death. The police took possession of Surya Hansda’s body and sent it to the hospital for a postmortem examination.
