Students from National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, recently represented their institution with distinction at the 5th Cross-Examination Moot Court Competition 2025 in Paris, France. The competition centered on the crucial discipline of cross-examination in international arbitration, attracting elite law schools from across the globe.
The NUSRL team, comprising Vansh Gandhi, Shreya, Shraddha Raj, Garima Kiran, Yash Singh Naruka, and Abhaya Shruti, fiercely competed against teams from highly respected universities, including NLU Delhi, NALSAR Hyderabad, King’s College London, and the London School of Economics (LSE). Their performance highlighted their strong command of legal strategy, persuasive argumentation, and professional conduct.
The students delivered their submissions at significant locations, including Sciences Po Law School and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris. This international experience was instrumental in broadening their understanding of global legal challenges and judicial practices.
This esteemed competition was a collaborative effort led by Sciences Po Law School, Paris, with key partnerships from institutions such as Queen Mary University of London, New York University, and the National University of Singapore. Its significance in the arbitration world was recognized in 2021 when Global Arbitration Review presented it with the “Best Development of the Arbitration World” accolade.
