Amidst the harsh winter conditions and intense cold wave affecting Palamu, public representatives have stepped forward with humanitarian assistance for those most in need. An important blanket distribution took place in Ward 33 (Semratand Kalyanpur) of the Medininagar Municipal Corporation, providing essential warmth to impoverished individuals, senior citizens, and the disabled. The collaborative event saw key figures, including MP representative Bholanand Pandey, MLA representative Manohar Kumar Lali Gupta, Municipal Corporation Tehsildar Pawan Mehta, and social activist Sandeep Das, personally distributing the blankets. The gratitude and visible comfort of the recipients, especially the elderly shivering in the cold, highlighted the critical nature of this support. Pandey addressed the severity of the current cold snap, explaining that blanket distribution is being organized across all municipal wards with the support of the administration and local representatives to ensure no one is left without essential warmth. He expressed approval for the corporation’s initiative. Gupta emphasized the objective of ensuring government aid reaches every poor family and vowed to continue these efforts to support the last person in the line.
