Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, has reached Ranchi. He was greeted by Sanjay Seth, the Minister of State for Defence and Ranchi MP, and Babulal Marandi, the BJP state president, at the airport. Gadkari’s day includes a visit to Garhwa, and the inauguration of the Ratu Road Elevated Corridor in Ranchi, scheduled for 3 PM.
The minister will start his Ranchi engagements by paying respects at the Birsa Munda statue at Birsa Chowk, followed by the Elevated Corridor inauguration and a motorcycle rally to the OTC ground where a public address will take place. He will also lay the foundation stones for various NH projects in Jharkhand. NHAI officials will be in attendance, and a review of the flyover will be conducted. A meeting will also be held at Hotel Radisson Blu to discuss NH projects and provide transport-related directives to officials. Gadkari is scheduled to leave from Ranchi Airport at 6:45 PM.
