The foundation stone for the new building of the Chaibasa District Bar Association was laid via video conference, with Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice Tarlochan Singh Chauhan in attendance. The ceremony also included the laying of foundation stones for the District Bar Bhavan in Khunti and the Sub-Divisional Bar Bhavan in Chandil. Senior judges, representatives of the Advocates Association, and local officials participated in the online event. Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated the government’s dedication to bolstering the judicial system and supporting advocates. He noted that these buildings will lead to a more efficient justice system and provide improved working conditions for advocates. Chief Justice Chauhan praised the undertaking, saying strong advocate association buildings are vital to the judicial system. He also expressed hope that the new construction will create more chances for young lawyers. The Chaibasa Bar Association’s officials expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and Chief Justice, and they called the construction of the building a historic step.
