In a swift investigation, the West Singhbhum police have solved the murder of para teacher Mukru Devgam, arresting three individuals involved. The apprehended suspects are Soma Sundi (25), Seenu Gaur (20), and Mangal Karova (20). The victim, Mukru Devgam, 50, was attacked and killed on November 29th near Purnapani Bazaar Tod in the Tonto police station area. According to police officials, the motive appears to stem from an argument related to ‘handiya’. The accused allegedly used stones and sticks to inflict fatal injuries on Devgam before escaping. Under the direction of the Superintendent of Police, a dedicated team led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Raifal Murmu was established. Utilizing technical surveillance, police managed to track down and arrest the three accused on November 30th in the village of Kenjra. The suspects have confessed to their role in the homicide during questioning. The police have also successfully recovered incriminating evidence, including a blood-stained stone used in the assault, a wooden stick, and the clothing worn by the assailants at the time of the incident.
