The “Manyan Samman Yojana” in Jharkhand has provided financial support to women in Ranchi. The state government has deposited ₹2500 into the bank accounts of eligible women for the month of July. The district administration confirmed on Wednesday that funds have been successfully disbursed. The initial phase of the program saw ₹96,67,32,500 being distributed to 3,86,693 women via DBT. The scheme covers various areas within Ranchi district, including Angara, Argora (Municipal Corporation), Bargain (Municipal Corporation), Bero, Bundu, Bundu Nagar Panchayat, Budhmu, Chanho, Hehal (Municipal Corporation), Itki, Kanke, Kanke (Municipal Corporation), Khalari, Lapung, Mandar, Nagri, Nagri (Municipal Corporation), Namkum, Namkum (Municipal Corporation), Ormanjhi, Rahe, Ratu, Silly, Sonahatu, Tamar, and Sadar (Municipal Corporation). Women listed in the scheme who have not linked their Aadhaar cards to their bank accounts need to complete this process immediately to ensure uninterrupted payments. Physical verification is underway to include all eligible recipients. Those with pending verification are encouraged to connect with their local Anganwadi workers to complete the required forms.
