A horrifying case has come to light in Lohardaga district, Jharkhand, involving a husband who murdered his wife, buried her within their dwelling, and continued to live in the same space. The crime was exposed when a putrid smell began to emanate from the house, prompting neighbors to notify the local authorities. Police interrogation subsequently revealed the husband’s guilt.
Raghurao from Bhithha village, under the jurisdiction of Bhandara police station in Lohardaga district, is implicated in the murder of his wife, Phoolo Uraon. He is accused of burying her body inside a room in their home and continuing to sleep there. The grim discovery was made when a foul odor alerted the neighbors. The neighbors informed the police about their suspicions. Upon reaching the location, the police took Raghurao into custody and questioned him. He confessed to strangling his wife, Phoolo Uraon, and burying her body inside the house.
