Deoghar is set to benefit from a major infrastructure upgrade. A new road connecting Deoghar to Madhupur is planned, with an estimated cost of 20 crore. The road will be 28 kilometers long and will include Mohanpur Ghat. The Road Construction Department has issued tenders for the project. The deadline for submitting tenders is July 22nd, with the opening scheduled for July 24th. Although the tenders will be finalized soon, construction will commence after the monsoon. The current road conditions are very poor, causing problems for commuters. During the rainy season, the road becomes even more difficult to use. The new road will significantly benefit those who travel between Deoghar and Madhupur.
