The Kali Mandir at Koderma Railway Station vibrantly celebrated its annual two-day Kali Puja festival, drawing large crowds of devotees. The festivities encompassed evening Aarti, religious ceremonies, and a grand ‘Jagran’ featuring a diverse array of artistic talents. The spiritual immersion began with Ganesh Vandana, performed beautifully by Munna Bhadani. Vinod Chaurasia energized the gathering with popular devotional songs such as ‘Chalo Bulawa Aaya Hai, Mata Ne Bulaya Hai’. The devotional concert was further enriched by the performances of Raja Chaurasia, Anuradha Singh, Kshama Sonkar, and Anand Singh. The live musical accompaniment, with Vishal Kapsime on the organ, Bablu Pandey on the dholak, and other skilled artists, enhanced the overall grandeur of the event. A highlight of the celebration was the extensive ‘Bhandara’, held after the evening Aarti, which provided blessed prasad to thousands. The devotional slogans of attendees filled the atmosphere with divine energy. Temple committee chairman Dinesh Mishra noted the event’s tradition of fostering devotion, unity, and communal harmony. Priest Vijaykant Upadhyay officiated the puja, commencing the proceedings with the sacred Jyoti of Goddess Kali.
