High humidity levels are affecting Ranchi and most districts, causing considerable unease. Ranchi experienced the highest humidity on Saturday compared to other areas in the state. The humidity in Ranchi reached 90% on Saturday, a minor drop from 92% the previous day. Jamshedpur recorded 86% humidity, Daltonganj 68%, Bokaro 73%, and Chaibasa 80%. The weather department has predicted light rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in various parts of the state until June 18. A yellow alert has been issued for June 15-17 due to the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning. Heavy rainfall is expected in the southern, western, and central regions on June 17. Over the last 24 hours, Manoharpur in West Singhbhum received the highest rainfall, measuring 6.2 mm. The highest maximum temperature was recorded in Daltonganj at 40 degrees Celsius, while the lowest minimum temperature was observed in Namkum, Ranchi, at 21.7 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, the maximum temperatures were: Ranchi 35 degrees, Jamshedpur 36.5, Daltonganj 40.2, Bokaro 38.1, and Chaibasa 37.4 degrees Celsius.
