Jharkhand is experiencing severe disruption due to heavy rainfall, causing widespread damage across the state. Bridges and culverts have been destroyed in several districts, leading to communication challenges. Rivers and streams are overflowing, and many areas, including parts of Ranchi, are submerged. Rainfall from June 1st to 30th was 88% higher than normal. Ranchi saw the most extreme impact, with rainfall 213% above average. The monsoon has brought heavy rains to most districts, with the forecast suggesting continued heavy rainfall until July 6th.
