A young girl’s life was tragically cut short in a heartbreaking incident in West Singhbhum, Jharkhand. A fifth-grade student, Hasita Das, lost her life after drowning in a pond while attempting to collect a lotus flower. She was with her two friends in Sarbiza village when the incident occurred. Seeing the beautiful flower, she entered the pond, but unfortunately, she lost her balance and began to drown. Her companions quickly alerted the villagers, who rushed to her aid. The girl was immediately taken to a hospital, but doctors were unable to save her. The incident is a somber reminder of the dangers posed by water bodies and the importance of safety awareness.
