On the opening day of the monsoon session, the Jharkhand Assembly offered condolences and paid homage to a number of departed individuals. The assembly remembered Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, former Education Minister Ramdas Soren, and other prominent figures. Speaker Rabindranath Mahto addressed the assembly, acknowledging the passing of these individuals during the monsoon session. Mahto remembered Shibu Soren’s contributions to Jharkhand, highlighting his role in shaping the state’s identity. Ramdas Soren’s simplicity and social commitment were recognized. The assembly also paid respects to Group Captain DK Parulkar, Padma Shri Vinod Kumar Pasayat, former Governor Satyapal Malik, and senior journalist Harinarayan Singh. The session also acknowledged the victims of recent tragedies. The proceedings were adjourned until the following Monday.
