Following the establishment of a Jharkhand Bhawan in Delhi, the government has announced the construction of a new, luxurious facility in Navi Mumbai’s Vashi area. The project will involve an investment of approximately 136 crore rupees, with the aim of providing modern amenities and high-end accommodations. The Bhawan is designed to accommodate the Governor, Chief Minister, and other VIP guests, with a range of executive and deluxe rooms.
The construction, expected to be completed in two years, will take place on plot number 2C, Sector 30A, Vashi, spanning 63.65 decimal of land. The building will consist of a basement, ground floor, and seven additional floors. The basement will offer parking space for 27 cars and 137 bikes. The ground floor will include a dining hall, a kitchen, a gym, and a VIP waiting lounge. The first floor will feature a VIP waiting lounge, a seminar hall, and an exhibition hall. The second floor will accommodate the Resident Secretary’s chamber, meeting rooms, and waiting areas. The third and fourth floors will have dormitories, each with a capacity of 57 beds. The fifth floor will offer deluxe rooms for special guests, while the sixth floor will provide executive rooms for very important guests. The seventh floor will be reserved for the Governor and Chief Minister, with facilities such as a Chief Minister’s chamber, master bedrooms, living rooms, a dining area, a seating area, and a meeting room.
