Dumri MLA Jairam Mahto hosted a talent recognition ceremony at the Vinod Bihari Mahto Rural Stadium in Nawadih, where top-performing students from the Dumri assembly constituency were recognized. The Governor, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, presented awards to students who excelled in the JAC matriculation and intermediate exams. Laptop computers were awarded to the toppers, while tablets were given to the other high-achieving students, with funds sourced from the MLA’s salary. Mementos and certificates were also presented.
The Governor spoke about the significance of education and the power of education to bring about positive change. He encouraged the students to dream big and strive for success. Jairam Mahto discussed the importance of career building during the ages of 13 to 19 and warned against the pitfalls of neglecting education. He also highlighted his personal experience with financial hardship and announced support for students facing similar challenges.
