A police team, under the command of Bariyatu police station in-charge Devendra Kumar, arrived at the scene immediately to investigate and search for the suspects. Police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. The incident is considered to be part of a series of extortion attempts targeting coal traders in the Latehar district.
