A significant meeting of the Hindi Sahitya Bharti’s Ranchi district unit took place at Udaan IAS Academy in Ranchi. The event was honored by the presence of Ramnivas Shukla, Central General Secretary of the International Hindi Sahitya Bharti, and Dr. Vasudev Prasad. The focus was on strategizing for the organization’s expansion and increasing its impact in promoting Hindi literature.
Shukla elaborated on the mission of Hindi Sahitya Bharti, highlighting the need for a robust membership base to achieve organizational goals. He advocated for the creation and active management of departmental cells to ensure efficient operations. Shukla also emphasized the regular hosting of seminars, kavi sammelans, and celebrations honoring literary icons and historical figures as key organizational activities.
Dr. Vasudev Prasad recognized Hindi Sahitya Bharti as a powerful platform for the promotion of Hindi language and literature, commending its ongoing literary and cultural initiatives. Balram Pathak, who chaired the meeting, announced that the district unit would henceforth convene monthly. He also detailed plans for an ambitious membership drive and efforts to engage college students via Hindi departments.
During the meeting, specific organizational responsibilities were assigned. Mamta Manish Sinha was appointed as the In-charge of the Poetry Platform Cell. Vishal Kumar was selected as the President of the Teacher Cell, and Dr. Omprakash was chosen as the In-charge for the Teacher Forum. The gathering saw participation from district secretary Sukumar Jha, treasurer Tripureshwar Nath Mishra, Nishant Kumar Pathak, and several other active members.
