A bizarre incident occurred in the Marine Drive area of Jamshedpur where a woman, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, climbed a high-tension electrical tower. Reaching a height of approximately 100 feet, she perched on the tower and began shouting, asking passersby to call her boyfriend. The local police were informed, and upon their arrival, they cut off the power supply to the city. They attempted to persuade the woman to descend, but she refused, insisting on her boyfriend’s presence. After a tense standoff, a rescue operation was initiated with support from Tata Steel, eventually leading to her safe descent.
