With the Ghatshila Assembly by-election fast approaching on November 11th, preliminary arrangements are in full swing. On Thursday, the East Singhbhum district administration conducted the initial randomization for micro-observers at the Collectorate hall. General Observer Rakhi Biswas and District Election Officer Karn Satyarthi oversaw the proceedings. The constituency will host 300 polling stations. Following Election Commission guidelines, 36 micro-observers, comprising 30 regular and 6 additional personnel, have been randomly allocated to monitor 30 key polling locations. The final assignment of these observers to their specific polling centers is scheduled for November 9th. Emphasizing the election’s integrity, the District Election Officer stressed the crucial role of micro-observers in ensuring a transparent and peaceful electoral exercise, issuing directives for strict compliance with all EC mandates.
