In a significant step towards enhancing maternal healthcare, the Gopikandar Community Health Center in Dumka successfully conducted Antenatal Care (ANC) check-ups for 126 pregnant women. Under the guidance of Block Medical Officer Dr. Sumit Anand, the primary objective was to ensure safe pregnancies and support normal childbirth. The extensive examinations included crucial health metrics such as weight, hemoglobin, HIV, and blood pressure, providing a clear picture of each woman’s health status. Dr. Anand shared that personalized medical advice was provided to address individual concerns and needs. Key aspects of prenatal care were discussed, including the importance of a nutritious diet, maintaining cleanliness, safe living practices, and specific precautions for expectant mothers. The event was efficiently managed by a dedicated team comprising Dr. Hemant Murmu, GNM Nayan Ranjana Murmu, Shweta Hansda, ANM Sonam Kumari, and Sarita Tudu, along with other healthcare workers.
