A group of 15 migrant workers from Jharkhand are currently stranded in Dubai, having reached out for assistance. The workers, originally from the districts of Giridih, Hazaribagh, and Dhanbad, were employed by Masai Contracting LLC. The workers have reported they haven’t received their salaries for three months, resulting in severe financial difficulties. They are facing challenges related to basic needs. They have appealed to both the central and state governments for assistance in their return. Social activist Sikandar Ali has urged both the central and Jharkhand governments to take swift action to facilitate the safe return of these workers. This situation represents a recurring pattern of migrant worker exploitation abroad.
