An unsettling event occurred in the Gumla district of Jharkhand where a man killed his sister-in-law. The incident happened in the Ghaghra police station area. The man had asked his sister-in-law for ₹200, allegedly to buy chicken. When she refused, a violent confrontation ensued, resulting in her death. The suspect has since fled the scene.
The incident occurred in the village of Gutwa Jokari. The accused, identified as Tejwa Lohra, visited his in-laws’ place. He, being under the influence of alcohol, asked Salma Lohrain for ₹200 to buy chicken. When she declined, he became enraged. Using a sharp-edged weapon, Lohra attacked her, causing her death. The victim’s husband, Samad Lohra, found his wife dead upon his return. Police have taken the body for post-mortem and are actively searching for the accused.
