In Ramgarh, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid his respects to the late Shibu Soren by visiting his ancestral village and offering floral tributes. Singh described the death of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren as a significant and irreplaceable loss. He shared his sentiments on X, stating that after the loss of Lord Birsa Munda, the tribal community has lost their greatest warrior. Singh reflected on his numerous interactions with Dishom Guru, and how his simplicity, approachability and his struggle had a profound impact. He further added that the people of Jharkhand have lost not only a beloved leader but also a guardian with his passing. The Defense Minister also met with Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, and his family to offer his condolences, and prayed for them to find strength during this difficult time. Former Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey, MP Pappu Yadav, and former Rajya Sabha MP RK Anand also offered their tributes at the memorial of the departed leader, and expressed their sympathies to Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his family.
