A significant fire incident occurred Tuesday night at a garage near Agrico Signal, falling under the Sidgora police station limits. The sudden outbreak of fire, marked by towering flames and thick smoke, caused considerable distress and evacuation among the local populace. Initial accounts point to a short circuit as the likely cause, which quickly ignited a car and an auto-rickshaw inside the garage. The inferno spread with remarkable speed, leading to the total loss of both vehicles within a matter of minutes. Alerted by residents, the fire brigade and police arrived promptly. Firefighters engaged in a critical battle for roughly thirty minutes to subdue the blaze, successfully containing it to the garage area. A major positive outcome was the absence of any reported injuries. The car and auto were completely gutted. Police are actively investigating the circumstances that led to this destructive fire.
