A shocking incident of murder has come to light in Palamu, Jharkhand, where a young man’s body was discovered in a septic tank. The victim, Sudama Thakur, was allegedly strangled and then beaten severely with stones before being concealed in the tank. Sudama Thakur, who owned a salon in Shahpur and resided with his family in Paneribandh, was reported missing after leaving his shop for a short errand. The macabre scene has deeply disturbed the local community. Construction workers stumbled upon the body floating in the septic tank and immediately alerted the police. The condition of the body and evidence at the site suggest a possible struggle and the presence of multiple people, with indications of alcohol use. Authorities are pursuing all leads, including the examination of Sudama’s phone records, to uncover the circumstances surrounding his murder and apprehend those responsible. The investigation is proceeding with urgency.
