A significant legal win has been secured by Godda MP Nishikant Dubey, as the High Court has ordered the quashing of a criminal case registered against him in Deoghar district. The FIR, lodged at Manoharpur police station as Case No. 281/23, was contested by Dubey, who filed a criminal petition before the High Court. The ruling offers considerable relief to the parliamentarian.
The case was heard by Justice Anil Kumar Choudhary. Senior advocates Ajit Kumar, Parth Jalan, and Smita Sinha effectively represented MP Dubey’s interests. The allegations pertained to an incident where Dubey was accused of beating an alleged cattle smuggler. The High Court’s decision to nullify the FIR marks a crucial turning point, providing Dubey with much-needed legal clearance.
