Security forces operating in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district have achieved a notable success by uncovering and destroying two previously unknown terrorist hideouts. The operation, a collaborative effort between the 9 Rashtriya Rifles and police forces, occurred in the forest terrain of Damhal Hanjipora, specifically between Ahmadabad and Nengripora. Following intelligence leads, the hideouts were located and systematically dismantled. The surrounding forest areas are now under strict security lockdown, with continuous search operations underway to identify any additional concealed militant assets or movements. This strategic move is crucial for dismantling terrorist capabilities and ensuring the safety of residents in the southern Kashmir region.
