In response to the Chinnaswamy Stadium stampede, which occurred after an RCB celebration and caused 11 deaths and over 50 injuries, Karnataka Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has confirmed that the government will take appropriate action. The minister stated this after the submission of a government status report on the incident. He also stated that the government is not aiming to assign blame. Instead, the government is waiting for the full report to understand if there was any mismanagement of the situation.
