Following a police shooting in California, United States, a 30-year-old techie from Telangana, India, has died, prompting his family to allege racial harassment and seek government intervention. The family of Mohammed Nizamuddin, who had been living in the US since 2016, is requesting a thorough investigation into the events surrounding his death and is seeking assistance from the Indian and Telangana state governments to repatriate his body. The incident occurred at his residence in Santa Clara on September 3rd, where he was found with a knife, and his roommate had sustained injuries. Nizamuddin’s father, Mohammad Amsuddhin, has appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to ensure the swift return of his son’s remains to India. Amsuddhin mentioned that his son initially studied in Florida and later moved to California on a promotion.
