India is focused on strengthening its military capabilities in light of evolving global challenges and relations with neighboring nations. The Ministry of Defence has released the Technology Perspective and Capability Roadmap (TPCR-2025) to guide the future requirements and technological direction of the Indian armed forces. This roadmap provides a comprehensive plan for capacity building and technological evolution for the armed forces over the next 15 years.
The TPCR had previous editions in 2013 and 2018. The newest version, TPCR-2025, details the needs related to land warfare, the air force, the navy, and joint technology integration.
