A heated debate has emerged following Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi’s criticism of the BJP and the central government regarding the India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup, scheduled for September 14th. In a video statement, Chaturvedi brought attention to the cricket match in Dubai. She explained that she had raised the issue in Parliament, pointing out that after Operation Sindoor, while visiting various countries with a parliamentary delegation, it was indicated that there would be no interaction or trade with Pakistan due to terrorism.
Chaturvedi further emphasized the tragic loss of 26 youths in Pahalgam and the resulting 26 widows, a key element leading to Operation Sindoor. She highlighted that a commitment was made to cease all dialogue and trade with Pakistan until terrorism was eliminated. Now, the announcement of the cricket match has intensified the situation.
