From November 13 to November 20, the Indian Air Force (IAF) will be conducting a large-scale military exercise across northeast India. The drills will involve a comprehensive display of the IAF’s operational strength, including its most advanced fighter aircraft, extensive air defense capabilities, and integrated combat systems. A Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has been issued to alert pilots and aviation authorities about the exercise’s impact on the northeastern airspace.
The exercise aims to significantly enhance the IAF’s preparedness and rapid deployment mechanisms along the border regions shared with China, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. The participation of prominent fighter jets such as the Sukhoi-30 MKI, Rafale, Mirage-2000, Tejas, and Jaguar will underscore the strategic focus on safeguarding India’s eastern frontiers.
