Kirti Patel, a social media influencer, has been arrested in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, ending a ten-month period during which she evaded capture. The arrest is related to a honeytrap and extortion case involving a local builder, and the initial FIR was filed in Surat on June 2. Patel, who has a significant following of 1.3 million on Instagram, was accused of luring the builder, blackmailing him, and demanding a substantial amount of money. While other suspects were arrested, Patel remained at large, employing methods to evade detection, including frequent moves and the use of different SIM cards. Police tracked her down in the Sarkhej area of Ahmedabad. According to authorities, Patel is accused of demanding a 2 crore ransom from the builder.
