In a significant move against terrorism in Kashmir, Handwara police confiscated property belonging to a terrorist operative. The action took place in Palpora village, Kralgund. Based on the investigation of a case registered at the Kralgund Police Station, it was found that Nazir Ahmad Gani, a JKNOP member, residing in POK and actively engaged in terrorist operations from there, was also directing and controlling terrorist activities in Handwara. Consequently, Nazir’s property was seized in Palpora village in the presence of police and revenue officials, after all legal procedures were followed. The Handwara police are committed to dealing strictly with individuals and groups involved in terrorist activities and anti-national elements. This operation aims to dismantle the infrastructure that aids terrorist organizations, prevent individuals from engaging in illegal acts, and strengthen the efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability within the district. Following the attacks in Pahalgam and the ongoing conflict with Pakistan, security has been heightened throughout Jammu and Kashmir.
