Gujarat Congress desires Rahul Gandhi to turn out to be celebration’s nationwide president

AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat Congress on Sunday demanded that Rahul Gandhi be made the celebration’s nationwide president.

The demand was made on the celebration’s state government committee assembly held right here, with all its members supporting the proposal with a spherical of applause. 

All the members of the grand previous celebration’s state government committee met right here and expressed their emotions that Rahul Gandhi be made the president of the Indian National Congress.

“They wanted this point to be presented before the national leadership,” chief spokesperson Manish Doshi mentioned.

“It was demanded that respected Rahul Gandhi, who is the future of India and the voice of the youth, be made the president of the Indian National Congress. All the present delegates of the state executive approved it with thunderous applause,” the celebration mentioned in a press release after the assembly. 

The state unit additionally resolved to win 125 out of Gujarat’s 182 seats within the upcoming Assembly election underneath the management of state president Jagdish Thakor.

Earlier within the day, the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) additionally handed a decision demanding that Rahul Gandhi be made the celebration’s nationwide president, Congress leaders mentioned.

The decision was handed in a gathering of 310 Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) delegates (who will vote in celebration’s presidential election) from Chhattisgarh chaired by Hussain Dalwai, state Congress communication wing head Sushil Anand Shukla mentioned.
