The bridge, which connected Anand and Vadodara, collapsed, leading to vehicles falling into the Mahisagar River. The state government and Prime Minister have announced financial aid for the affected. According to Vadodara SP Rohan Anand, a significant section of the bridge failed, resulting in the tragedy. The incident involved several vehicles, including two trucks, two vans, and an auto-rickshaw.
