Four booked in try to extort Rs 5 lakh, threatened to flow into man’s daughter obscene pictures in MP

INDORE: A case has been registered towards 4 individuals who allegedly tried to extort Rs 5 lakh from a person in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district by threatening to flow into obscene pictures of his daughter, police stated on Saturday.

The essential accused and his accomplices, all residents of Piploda village, allegedly confirmed the complainant obscene pictures and movies of his daughter on Friday night, Kanadiya police station in-charge Jagdish Prasad Jamra stated.

The accused allegedly threatened to make the pictures and movies viral and demanded Rs 5 lakh from the complainant, he stated.

Shaken by the risk, the person approached Kanadiya police station and lodged a grievance, he stated.

The essential accused and his accomplices fled the village after they came upon concerning the police grievance and a manhunt has been launched for them, the official stated, including {that a} case beneath related sections of the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act has been registered.
