In Gurugram, a woman has been arrested for the murder of her live-in partner. The incident stemmed from ongoing disagreements concerning Harish’s visits to his family. Harish, 42, and Yashmeet Kaur, 27, had been cohabitating in DLF Phase-3 for a year. Conflicts often arose because Harish was married with children, and arguments ensued whenever he spent time with his family. The fatal stabbing occurred following an escalation of a quarrel on Saturday. Harish was taken to a hospital, but he died from his injuries. Hours before the incident, Harish retrieved Rs 7 lakh from his nephew Bharat after returning from Faridabad and left with Vijay. Later that night, Harish contacted Bharat to arrange and pay for food. The next day, Kaur informed Bharat about Harish’s death, stating he had a knife wound. Kaur was arrested, and the police have recovered the knife. The police are now questioning Vijay and are investigating the reasons for Harish obtaining Rs 7 lakh before the incident.
