Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended a felicitation ceremony in Dehradun, organized by religious and social organizations in Balliwala, acknowledging his work towards a ‘corruption-free Uttarakhand.’ Dhami administered an oath, reiterating the commitment to eradicate corruption. He discussed the various initiatives undertaken to achieve this goal, highlighting the importance of public support. According to him, the ceremony honored the collective effort towards a corruption-free Uttarakhand, and the 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand who are striving for progress through integrity and transparency. The government has employed technology to enhance transparency, including online transfers, the CM Helpline 1905 for monitoring the examination system and grievance redressal, and 1064 for corruption complaints. The state government has taken action in cases of recruitment irregularities, corruption in transfers, and scheme-related misconduct. Over 200 people involved in corruption have been imprisoned, and over 24,000 people have been given government jobs. The government has implemented the Uniform Civil Code, strict anti-copying laws, and measures against land and love jihad. ‘Operation Kalanemi’ aims to expose impersonators, resulting in the arrest of over 200 suspects, including some Bangladeshi infiltrators. Dhami urged the public to inform the police about any suspicious elements, while reiterating the government’s dedication to transparent and accountable governance. He cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s principle of “Na khaunga, na khane doonga” as a guiding principle for the government.
