“They (BJP leaders) will come to Bengal solely throughout elections and unfold canards and lies. He is lecturing us on girls’s security. What is the state of affairs of girls in BJP-ruled states? What is the state of affairs in Modi’s favorite Gujarat?
“The prime minister has named a stadium after him. He has put his photographs on COVID-19 vaccination certificates. A day will come when the country will be named after him,” Banerjee acknowledged on the event of International Women’s Day.

West Bengal goes to polls in eight phases beginning March 27. The outcomes of the Assembly elections will probably be declared on May 2.
