A thief in Kanpur experienced an unusual end to his crime spree when he was caught sleeping at the scene. The individual had robbed two homes near the Marayampur railway line in the Nazirabad police station area. The first break-in occurred at Vinod Kumar’s residence, where the thief stole goods after breaking into a cupboard. He then proceeded to the adjacent house of Anil Kumar, where jewelry and cash were taken. After the two robberies, fatigue apparently set in, and the thief fell asleep on a bed inside Anil’s house. The following morning, Anil Kumar discovered the sleeping intruder, which led to the thief being apprehended by neighbors. The police were called, and the thief was arrested and taken into custody. A case has been registered against him, and he is now in jail.
