He addressed accusations that he favors Vedic principles over scientific advancements, pointing out the Vedic clock was created by an IT student, and stressing his belief in scientific progress. Yadav emphasized ongoing advancements in various fields, including drone and space technology.
He clarified the functioning of the Vedic clock, explaining the concept of a ‘muhurta,’ which is approximately 48 minutes. When asked about the Vedic clock’s purpose in a world of smartwatches, Yadav focused on its reliance on the sun’s cycle. He explained the Vedic clock’s timekeeping is based on the sun’s orbit. He provided examples of how planets complete their orbits, such as Venus and Saturn.
Yadav highlighted the value of Vedic mathematics, particularly in space technology. He contrasted the limitations of modern technology in predicting eclipses with the ability of ancient Indian scholars to predict them, emphasizing the continuing relevance of Vedic calculations.
