On Teacher’s Day, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai launched Mission Antariksh and Project Jai Vigyan from his official residence in Raipur, with the goal of promoting space science education for schoolchildren. Key partnerships were solidified through the signing of Memorandums of Understanding between the Raipur district administration and the Igniting Dreams of Young Minds Foundation, as well as Vigyan Bharati. The Chief Minister recognized Group Captain Shubhashnu Shukla for his accomplishments in space exploration and celebrated teachers. He highlighted the importance of science in building a culture of questioning, reasoning, and problem-solving. Project Jai Vigyan will facilitate workshops, exhibitions, and competitions. He emphasized the role of Chhattisgarh’s youth as creators of knowledge, essential for the advancement of a self-reliant and science-driven nation, while encouraging children to find inspiration in Shubhashnu Shukla. Group Captain Shukla acknowledged the importance of the initiative. Education Minister Gajendra Yadav, Raipur Collector Gaurav Kumar Singh, and representatives from educational institutions attended the event.
