Specific warnings have been issued for 36 districts of Uttar Pradesh, where heavy rainfall is anticipated today. Additional heavy rainfall is expected in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan from today to July 2. Rain is expected in western Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir over the next two days. Uttar Pradesh is also under a rain alert until July 2. The districts affected by the heavy rainfall warning are Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Sitapur, Ambedkar Nagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar and Bijnor.
Uttarakhand is expected to receive heavy rainfall until June 30. Punjab is predicted to have rain today and tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is forecast for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Jharkhand until July 2. West Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar may see rainfall until June 30. East Madhya Pradesh could experience heavy rainfall on June 30 and July 1, while West Madhya Pradesh is predicted to have very heavy rainfall on July 1 and 2.
